Very cool. I had my students read an article last year about how DNA was being extracted from some Wooly Mammoth hair that they recently found. They were then putting the DNA into pregnant elephants to see what happened. It stirred up a lot of interesting conversation! The conversation then tied into the whole "dino DNA" from Jurassic Park. New fossils and the idea of ancient animals living among us again always seem to spark up interest. All of this was for my Science Fiction and Fantasy class.
